About the horse
A young star whose talent runs in the family!
Undine was a top-class racehorse with a record that included victories in the classics. Her first foal, Galadriel, has six top-three finishes in seven starts and has shown the potential to follow in her mother’s footsteps.
Undine was an early prospect trained by Catarina Lundström; she finished fourth in the Svensk Uppfödningslöpning behind Gareth Boko and won the Vinterfavoriten as a two-year-old. She also placed second in the E3 and sixth in the Svenskt Trav-Oaks, which was won by Darling Mearas. Undine competed at the very top of her crop and rounded out her career with over two million in earnings. She is a sister to the 1:13 trotter Tour de France, and her dam, Landlubber, trotted 1:14 herself and earned nearly half a million. Her great-granddam, Duenna, won the Hambletonian against the colts.
