Apprentice M. was a millionaire herself and competed in the Canadian top-class races. Among other achievements, she won the Ontario Stakes Gold as both a two- and three-year-old! She is also a sister to the superstar mare Charmed Life, who holds a record of 1:09.3 and has earned $1.5 million, including a victory in the Miss Versatility. Charmed Life has produced the top-class Canterbury Hanover (b. 2020) with a time of 1:10.0. From the same dam line come millionaires such as V.C. Chocoholic, Help of the Season, and many more.

On the X-ray, at the lower end of the left hind leg (near the hock joint), a small radiopaque area is visible that may be interpreted as a skeletal cyst.
