Mom has the potential to be a top-class racehorse, and Dad won the Swedish Trotting Derby!

Cook Island demonstrated far greater ability than her race record suggests, and in Jakyll Island’s bloodline we find perhaps the world’s greatest trotting horse of all time!

Cook Island was a wonderful talent who showed top-class potential as a three-year-old. Among other achievements, she won the Swedish Trotting Association’s Young Horse Series in 1:14.1am and finished second in a qualifier for the Norrland Elite Series. Her sister, Emerald Island, won the STL final during last year’s Elitlopp weekend in 1:10.7. Her maternal grandmother, Armbro Volcano (1,166,613 SEK), is a sister to Waikiki Beach, who in turn is the sire of the world’s most successful trotter: Varenne! Third offspring.
