Coco Chip was a prodigious talent who racked up wins as a three-year-old and won as the favorite in races including Sikta Mot Stjärnorna at Mantorp—against colts—for her trainer Åke Svanstedt. She claimed six victories during her brief racing career, which also included a start in the Orsi Mangelli. Coco Chip comes from the same dam line as the super mare and million-dollar winner Syrinx Hanover, as well as the two-time million-dollar winner Emmett Brown. Among Coco Chip’s offspring is the three-year-old Aveve (by Campo Bahia), who has trotted 1:14 over a full distance and claimed two victories.
