About the horse
A Who’s Who of Crossbreeds– the mothers like Varenne!
Villarrica was a highly talented horse whose career ended prematurely. His dam line is promising, and the cross with Maharajah on a From Above mare has proven successful—not least through Who’s Who!
Villarrica made just five starts, never finished worse than third, and won, among other things, the Swedish Trotting Association’s Young Horse Series at Solvalla. Her dam, Pinta, is a full sister to Armbro Domino (1:11.8a/2.3 million kronor), Orizaba (1:10.9), and Noisy Nelle (1:12.8). Her maternal great-grandmother, Armbro Volcano, competed at the top level in the U.S. with several stakes wins, and from this maternal line comes Hula Lobell, the dam of Waikiki Beach. The latter is the sire of the most successful trotter ever: Varenne, with over 52 million kronor in earnings! Guided Tour is Villarrica’s first offspring.
Guided Tour has been withdrawn from the auction due to a mild lameness; see the veterinary certificate. Guided Tour is scheduled to be sold at the upcoming Mixed Auction on November 20.
