Counsellor Ås set a record of 1:12.9, earned 779,161 kronor, and won races on both sides of the Atlantic, including the New York Sire Stakes on the 800-meter track at Yonkers and at Saratoga. Counsellor Ås is a sister to the millionaire and 1:11 trotter Conquest As, as well as two other dream milers in the form of Blank Space Ås (1:12.7) and Jessica Ås (1:13.4). She comes from a fantastically strong maternal line featuring top horses such as Lindy Lane, Nadal Broline, Celebrity Secret, Lindy’s True Grit, the Danish Kriterium winner Empire, and Samo Different Day. Counsellor Ås’s firstborn, Judge Dredd Sisu (b. 2019 by Bold Eagle), began his career as a three-year-old this spring with a victory.
