About the horse
A daughter of Walner from a premier maternal family!
Walner is regarded as one of the most sought-after stallions in the world, and when crossed with Muscle Hill mares, the result has included stars such as Venerable, Ari Ferrari J, and Special Way. This exceptional combination is further strengthened by a maternal family that has produced major stakes winners on both sides of the Atlantic.
Dik Dik is a young daughter of Muscle Hill from a distinguished maternal family. Her dam Pantholops, won the Zweig Memorial and Duenna as a three-year-old, finished fourth in the Breeders Crown that same season, and was runner-up in Miss Versatility at four. She also finished fourth in the Breeders Crown at Woodbine behind Tamla Celeber. She descends from the powerful Pompanette family, which has produced horses such as Hambletonian winner Duenna, Gold Division winner Garros, and Kriteriet runner-up Bengan. Pantholops produced Chiru (foaled 2017), who set a Swedish record of 1:57,2 (1.13,0) over 2,640 meters as a four-year-old and finished third in Jubileumspokalen behind San Moteur. Walner had only 13 Swedish-born foals in 2025.
