Trading was a highly talented horse with several classic young horse achievements to her credit. She comes from a fantastic maternal line that has produced both stars and horses with an exceptionally high winning percentage. A full sister to Kartell has nine wins and is approaching half a million in earnings.

Trading won the final of the Norrland Elite Series, placed sixth in the Derbystoet, and was also a finalist in the Svenskt Trav-Oaks after winning her qualifier. Trading is a sister to Quid Pro Quo, a seven-time millionaire with wins in the Sundsvall Open Trot, the Sprintermästaren, and the Gran Premio Orsi Mangelli. Her grandmother, the elite mare Trapped, is quite unique as a broodmare, with eight offspring posting times of 1:14.6 or better; her offspring have racked up 131 victories and earned 15 million kronor! Trading has also sired Foreign Affairs, who has nine victories and a best time of 1:13.1am.
