Few horses have done more for trotting than the cold-blooded Järvsöfaks did during his career. He won 42 consecutive victories and became a national treasure. He also led the Mounted Guard on one occasion. In addition, he has posed under the Eiffel Tower and appeared on stage at the Horse Gala in Gothenburg. Quite simply, he is a world-class artist.
He was one of a kind. In a class of his own. I followed him throughout his career through my camera lens, and he was always cool and proud to be in the spotlight. Still, I think he felt most at home on Jan-Olov Persson's farm in Hudiksvall. That was also where I captured him in freedom on a beautiful winter day in December 1999, says "Blomman." The artist himself has chosen to donate the money to the Mounted Guard.
