About the horse
French secrets behind the latest success!
I Am Athena’s dam is a 1.14-minute trotter, and through Olimede she brings an extra dose of French blood, which is combined with Derby winner Who’s Who. Her grandsire, Maharajah, has enjoyed great success with French mares!
Dat’s Olivia recorded two wins and posted a time of 1:14.5 during her racing career. She is a sister to the 1:13 trotter Red Jamie and to La Dama Futura, who has eight wins and has earned a quarter of a million kronor. Her first foal, I Am Srivilai (b. 2019), qualified for the races as early as a two-year-old. The dam line has produced successful horses in all Nordic countries, including the Kriterium and Derby runner-up and breeding stallion Dexter Frontline, the young horse star in Norway Alv Alvson, the winning machine (24 victories) Tina Glas, and the Finnish Kriterium winner Venice Beach, who gave Tuomas Korvenoja his first Kriterium victory.
