Katla Celeber is a sister to none other than Tamla Celeber, but she herself was a top performer on the track and competed among the best of her generation. Panne de Moteur, a horse of French descent, sired San Moteur.

Katla Celeber competed at the top level and won the Lime Abbey Stakes, finished second in her Oaks qualifier, placed fifth in the Breeders’ Crown final as a three-year-old, and was a finalist in the Derby Stakes as a four-year-old. She is a sister to the super mare Tamla Celeber 1.10.2/8,310,666, who won the E3, Oaks, Queen’s Cup, Mare Championship, and the Breeders’ Crown for older horses at Woodbine, among other races. Tamla Celeber has sired Breeders Crown winner Forfantone Am (4.4 million), Imhatra Am (4.1 million), and the top filly of the crop, Jewilla, with over three-quarters of a million kronor to her credit.
