Rules of the Road made her debut in June as a two-year-old and was among the top performers in her crop throughout her career. She finished second in the Hambletonian Oaks behind Wild Honey, but won the Tompkins Geere, the Simpson Stakes, and the qualifier for the Armbro Flight, where she placed third in the final behind Hannelore Hanover. Rules of the Road is a sister to All On Black (1:11.2a/$288,900), Right Away (1:12.1), and Skydeck (1:13.3). She comes from the same dam line as four-time millionaire Travelling Man, E3 winner Conrads Epilog, and top mare Beautiful Sin (1:08.7). Third offspring.
