About the horse
A cold-blooded top performer with immense potential!
The outstanding Uggla i Mossen dominated her crop of fillies, and with her proven talent and pedigree, she is one of the country’s most exciting mares in cold-blooded breeding.
Uggla i Mossen, a daughter of Järvsöfaks, was undoubtedly the best mare of her crop for Jan-Olov Persson, winning the Swedish Kriteriestoet despite breaking into a gallop along the way, the Norwegian Hoppekriteriet, the Biri Breeders’ Stakes for fillies, and the Norwegian Derbystoet. Her dam, Lax Vilja, qualified as a two-year-old and won races as a three-year-old, but it is in the breeding box that the real impact has been felt. In addition to Uggla i Mossen, she has also produced the half-million-krona earner Björli Odin (by Järvsöfaks) and the Swedish record-holder and million-krona earner Buska Blyg (by Järvsöviking). Her offspring have claimed 56 victories and earned over 5.5 million! Second offspring.
