About the horse
Two hilltops in an exciting matchup!
Both Uggla I Mossen and Nordsjö Odin have dominated their respective litters, and with exciting contributions from Järvsöfaks and Elding, along with rapid generational shifts, all the ingredients are in place for dynamic development!
The Järvsöfaks Daughter Uggla i Mossen was undoubtedly the best mare of her crop for Jan-Olov Persson, with victories in the Swedish Kriteriestoet despite breaking into a gallop along the way, the Norwegian Hoppekriteriet, the Biri Breeders’ Race for Mares, and the Norwegian Derbystoet. Her dam, Lax Vilja, qualified as a two-year-old and won races as a three-year-old, but it is in the breeding box that the real breakthrough has come. In addition to Uggla i Mossen, she has also produced the half-million-krona earner Björli Odin (by Järvsöfaks) and the Swedish record-holder and winning machine Buska Blyg (by Järvsöviking). From the same dam line come million-krona earners such as Jubel Sture, Röste Bo, and Höstbo Fredrik.
