Delightful Face made just four starts as a three-year-old before she was retired to breeding. With one of Europe’s all-time greatest mares, Lisa America, as her dam, the choice was an easy one. Lisa America trotted 1:10 and earned 13 million, including victories in the Oslo Grand Prix, the Åby Stora Pris, and the Sundsvall Open Trot. Lisa America is the sister of four other millionaires: Ok America, Radysin America, Guida America, and Unison Kronos, and she herself has produced the double millionaire Kennedy, the millionaire Upper Face, and the highly talented Barack Face (b. 2019). Gorgeous Lad is his dam’s first foal.
