About the horse
A matchup between two Prix d’Amérique winners!
A particularly exciting combination featuring the Prix d’Amérique winners Readly Express and Maharajah, on a damline that has given us the current gold medalist and Elitlopp finalist Night Brodde!
The Maharajah's Daughter Urubamba made her debut with a second-place finish at Solvalla back in March as a three-year-old and showed great promise. Her dam, Katydid, had a wonderful attitude, racking up 18 wins in 48 starts and earning nearly one million kronor! Urubamba is a full sister to the two-time Vincennes winner Tellmeastory (1:11.8 am/1.8 million kronor) and the half-millionaire Vedalia (1:12.1). A sister to Katydid, Nagajka, is the dam of this year’s Gold Division winner and Elitlopp finalist Night Brodde. From the same dam line as top horse Ultimo H, world record holder Quantanamera, and millionaires such as Weekend Fun and Kick Party. Urubamba’s first offspring, El Valle Sagrado (b. 2019), won races as a two-year-old.
