Unstirred Drink showed great promise; he comes from a top-class bloodline, and his pedigree features a cross between From Above and Maharajah—a combination that previously produced the Derby winner Who’s Who!

Unstirred Drink made her debut as a two-year-old and competed at the very top of her age group. Among other achievements, she finished third in the E3 and fifth in the Derbystoet for her trainer Svante Båth, where she set a record time of 1:11.8. She is a full sister to Twist Of Lemon (1:12.9ak). The dam line traces back to Maiden Yankee, the dam of Muscles Yankee, a Hambletonian winner and an extremely important sire, not least as the sire of a certain Muscle Hill. From the same dam line also comes the Elitlopp horse and 20-time millionaire Vivid Wise As. Gimlet is Unstirred Drink’s second offspring.
