Twist of Lemon won her debut as a three-year-old in 1:17.5 and trotted 1:14.5a over 2,140 meters to finish second in only her second career start! She also placed third in the Oakskvalet. Twist of Lemon is a sister to the 1:11 trotter Unstirred Drink, who, among other achievements, placed third in the E3, fifth in the Stoderbyt, and competed among the very best of her crop. The dam line traces back to Maiden Yankee, the dam of Muscles Yankee, a Hambletonian winner and an extremely influential sire through his son Muscle Hill. The same dam line also produced the Elitlopp horse Vivid Wise As. Twist of Lemon’s two oldest offspring have both surpassed half a million in earnings, and Everglo Lemon has won in the STL.
